Carter Motorsports is excited to announce that an opportunity has opened for a Sales Manager, who can manage sales personnel effectively, has a strong knowledge of the market & an in-depth understanding of the sales department day to day operations along with strong customer relations skills.
Responsibilities:
- Creating the annual dealership sales forecasts with GM.
- Overseeing the sales staff and work with them to produce team peak performance.
- Hiring and monitoring the performance of the sales staff, holding weekly sales meetings and conducting sales training.
- Working with the general manager on keeping new and used inventories in line with industry standards.
- Meeting monthly with the dealership’s general manager to review forecasts and profits sales department.
- Working directly with the general manager on setting goals, targets, marketing/advertising plans, and staffing needs.
- Attending to customer complaints, ensuring that a high level of customer satisfaction is obtained.
- Auditing all appraisals of trade-in units.
- Along with other day to day operation functions
Preferred Requirements:
Managers are required to maintain the profitability of their department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Previous Motorsports experience an asset.
- A valid VSA license is required.
- A valid Class 5 and 6 driver's license is required.
